ASHTANGA FUNDRAISER TO HEAL TRAUMA

Your Support Can Changes Lives!

I’m supporting ‘Three and a Half Acres Yoga’ Non-Profit Foundation - a non profit that broadens access to yoga, breathing, and mindfulness techniques, focusing on communities who have experienced trauma.

Over the month of December, many members of the Ashtanga yoga community are leading classes on a donation basis, directly supporting Three and a Half Acres.

We know that 70% of the population has been affected by trauma in the US alone. Trauma survivors are in every room and their needs and reactions are different from other students.

It’s of the utmost importance that we are giving yoga teachers the tools they need to avoid harm and re-triggering vulnerable students within yoga spaces.

This is the perfect month to express our gratitude for the gift of yoga that enriches our lives and you can join me online SUNDAY, DECEMBER 19!

When you make a donation you will receive access to ALL of the classes being offered over the month of December!

Come make a life changing difference to someone struggling with trauma and seeking out refuge through yoga!

Support Three and a Half Acres Yoga in their initiative to increase awareness and understanding surrounding the lasting effects of trauma and abuse, and help them offer valuable trainings to yoga teachers, who can in turn can better support those suffering through the practice of yoga.

Join us in increasing the dialogue around trauma through trauma-informed teaching.
